Global Call for Startups

Global Call for Startups is a competition for early-stage ventures dedicated to transforming the food system. It builds on The 2025 EAT-Lancet Commission Report, which provides guidelines for healthy, sustainable and socially just food systems. Winners of the competition are put in the spotlight, invited to pitch at partner events, and provided with tailored support and strategic network access to enable the next wave of food system success stories.

From May 1 to June 15 2026 startups worldwide are invited to apply. Through a rigorous evaluation process, top startups are selected to present at Impact/Week at Norrsken House Barcelona 14-15 October 2026 - Europe's biggest gathering of institutional LPs and top-tier impact GPs.

Following Impact/Week the teams are also offered a tailored support program by our partners, including individual coaching by Accenture and exclusive access to programs and networks of Katapult, and Norrsken.

Meet The 2025 Winners

From a global pool of 300+ applicants, five winners were selected and evaluated by a jury of leading investors, industry executives, and scientists from the EAT-Lancet commission. Selected for their pioneering ideas, these startups are tackling some of the most urgent challenges and rethinking the systems behind them - from reducing chemical use and food waste, to improving ingredients, increasing accessibility, and encouraging better consumer choices.
